Frequently asked questions

How long can I keep the moving totes?

Every package includes a 1 week rental period — enough time for most moves. Need more time? For a reduced fee, you can add a “Midwest Goodbye” at any time to extend the rental period for another week.

What areas do you deliver to?

We serve all towns in Walworth County, WI including Elkhorn, Delavan, Lake Geneva, Whitewater and East Troy along with all other towns and villages (Walworth, Sharon, Darien, La Grange, Honey Creek, Genoa City, Lake Como) in a 25 mile radius. We can even deliver to Burlington.

What if I am moving outside of the area?

Our totes are ideal for local or regional use. If you are moving outside of the immediate area, you will want to coordinate a local pick up location within the service area for the end of the rental period.

What if I need more totes mid-rental?

No problem — contact us or purchase an “Ope” package and we'll drop off additional totes. There's a small re-delivery fee plus the per-tote rate. Most customers find our packages cover their needs, but we're flexible.

What if I need more time?

Every rental package comes with a standard 1 week rental period, but if you need more time, just book a “Midwest Goodbye” package to extend your rental another week.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Free cancellation 48+ hours before your scheduled delivery. Within 48 hours there's a $50 fee. Post-delivery cancellations incur a $75 restocking fee. We try to be as flexible as possible.

What's your non-return policy?

Renter will be charged a $35 replacement fee for each tote not returned at the end of the rental period.

How big are the totes?

Each tote measures 25.2” × 15.5” × 11” (inside dimensions) and holds 2.3 cubic feet of contents. That’s about the size of a standard medium-to-large moving box, but sturdier, stackable, and ready to use—no tape required.

Are moving totes really better than cardboard?

Yes — in so many ways! Our totes hold 70 lbs each, are crush-proof, require no tape or assembly, stack securely, and produce zero waste. Once you move with totes, you'll never go back to cardboard.

Can I use totes for things other than moving?

Absolutely. Our totes are great for home renovations (packing a room while work is done), event coordination, seasonal storage swaps, estate cleanouts, office reorganizations, and more. If you need temporary sturdy storage, we can help.
